Provided by YP.comChris was up in our face / texting threatening and accusing us of all sorts of things including not paying the bill two days after we received it. He remembered the job was finished two months previously but failed to acknowledge or remember that we didn’t receive a bill for over two months. We asked about the bill a month after he finished the job and then again. We had ongoing communication problems with Chris. For example what we asked him to do face to face wasn’t always communicated to Susanne and Samantha, i.e. I would call and they would say that Chris hadn’t told them. We had asked him to maintain our lawn and gave Randolph’s landscaping specific instructions on what we wanted them to do. These instructions weren’t followed and we had to reach out to the office on multiple occasions. Going forward sometimes what we requested was done and sometimes it wasn’t, but we were still charged the same amount. We received multiple excuses from Chris and Randolph’s as to why someone didn’t show up when they were supposed to or something we requested didn’t get done. I realize things happen in business, but not repeatedly. • When we first met we told Chris that cost was important to us and I asked if he gave military discounts and was told: o That he gave a 10% discount for military and senior citizens. o The military discount wasn’t given on the original estimate or on the final bill o Based on that, the bill should be $457 less than the total of $4,578.98 • In Estimate 1351 he gave us specific instructions as to how to water and take care of new sod. I believed he should have known and followed the instructions. Some of our grass went into shock and died. I asked Moore Landscaping who installed the sprinkler system to come out and tell us why the grass seemed to be dying. He checked our watering schedule and asked who told us to water only one time per day and that new sod needed to be watered 3 times per day in order for it to take hold. He made the correction. We didn't find this out until several weeks after he sodded the yard.

Provided by YP.comBeing an employee as a lawn maintance requires hard work. Most employees take on such employment thinking it will be an easy job. Employee do have to work in the blazing hot sun and work exceptionally hard to make customers happy. Randolph demands this from employees and pays employees for the service they provide to thier customers. Employees that represent Randolph Lawn Manintence and fail to exhibit exceptional work ethics will sure write these type of comments. I have worked with this company for 2 years and they have always paid me exceptionally well. Even a couple of times I requested to get paid earlier than scheduled and they forwarded my check earlier. This company will be there for employees if employees are there for the company. There are employees that feel the jobs consist of "just" mowing grass. This is not the case. So, to the previous comment...maybe you should not be evaluating Randolph's Lawn Maintenance but rather your work ethics.

Provided by YP.comCompany treats employees terrible. Pays what is felt as right, leaving employee feeling like they work for nothing. Lowers pay for holiday season. Good for company, bad for employees.
