I have watched this community bank over the past 20 years grow its depositor base during both economic upturns and during really tough times for the economy. The directors have consistenty provided the public with great and increasing services. Community banking is about conservative guidance an observation of ever changing banking laws. Schertz Bank and Trust did not ask for and did not accept TARP funds. That, in its self, says a lot. I feel confident that these fine folks will continue to provide me with excellent service during diffucult times. "Hats off" to Schertz Bank & Trust.
