I have had both of my horses at this barn. Both horses went in for training and ride time with Andrew and Ashley. Both horses came back to me trained, conditioned and dialed into what I asked them to work with them for -

My daughter has been riding here for 4+ years. The staff is terrific. Definitely would recommend for lessons! They don't over charge or push to do "more" - go at your pace and are very attentive to the students.

My friend used to ride there but prices got high. Just because a barn looks nice on the highway doesn't mean the quality's good. It seems that the older, experienced looking farms are better. Sadly, the horse world isn't always as honest. So, appearances can fool you. The place I ride at isn't the newest or prettiest, but it has very reasonable prices and a trustworthy owner. I also read the other reviews and it seems Saddlebrook isn't good for boarders, good for riders willing to spend $$.

Frankly, as a considerate and discerning horseperson I could never support a facility who is known for the blatant disregard of their horse's well being and the needs of their clients. Considering the owner can't keep her mouth shut on even the most personal affairs dealing with her most long term instructor, it seems the friendships made here are very superficial. They'll hug you as they pee on your leg. The farm is good for beginners because beginners have little knowledge on how things should work, neither does Saddlebrook. Blind leading the blind. The best thing to do when you pass Saddlebrook on rt 73?.... KEEP DRIVING.
