I actually followed through with a purchase from this company.



First impression, the customer service is horrible. I had multiple email transactions asking for quotes, shipping info, etc. Throughout the process, I felt like the business man. There was little to no effort to go the extra mile to ensure that I was getting a quality product from someone who cared. When I did decide to go with this company (only due to the price), I mailed in my check and asked for him to confirm when he got the letter with the deposit check. My check was cashed and no confirmation was established. I had to make the effort to call and confirm that the right company cashed my check.



He then said that my product would come well before a date that I had said I needed the siding by and that he would be in contact when the product shipped out. Three days before the date that I needed it by (3 weeks after the order was placed), I had to call since my emails were not replied to. He stated that he would ship them out the day that I needed them by in the morning.



Morning of, I got a call confirming that the siding was leaving in 10 minutes and would be at the site by 10:30. By 11:30, I had yet to see or hear from anyone. I called the office and was referred to the shipping coordinator who called the driver. The coordinator called me back and stated that the driver was looking for a street that was not in the directions at all. I asked for the drivers number and called him.



Turns out, the driver printed off directions of his own to "Fairmont, WV." This led him to the courthouse. I called and had him directed to the right location, about 25 minutes from the courthouse.



Upon arrival, he stated that he failed to see the directions attached to the back of the invoice and apologized. He then stated that the company he works for is not the company that I bought the siding from and that they are contracted by wholesale logs and lumber to deliver the product. After that he stated that a few boards were cracked and that the distributor put some extra stock in the batch to compensate for the broken ones but that we would need to sort through the pile to remove the broken ones and have them sent back.



For the life of me, I can't figure out why they wanted a few cracked boards back, so I called the guy at wholesale again and proceeded to question why he wanted me to sort through 1800 lineal feet of wood siding to retrieve a few broken ones. He said, "just keep em" and hung up.



I didn't want to post a review on this until I had received my siding, but with that being said, I will never do business with this company again. The product is nice and what it said it was, but they are disorganized and rude. You would be much better off spending the extra dollar to someone that deserves it.
