I am so glad that I called AC by J they came out on the weekend with no extra charge, they were very prompt and professional. I was very pleased with the service I received. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

AC by J has transformed from a reputable service provider to a crook. We have used their $800/year service agreement for 10 years and their 6 month service cost has increased from nothing to >$1,000. This past service they suggested repairs of $5,100 plus the replacement of one 10 year old unit for $10,000. Concerned with the trend, we hired Scottsdale Air to perform a competitive quote. After spending $600, all 5 units are working great and we were informed our units most likely have another 5 years of life before replacement. In short, AC by J is gouging those customers who have trusted them for years. I will never use AC by J again.

We have a two story home with two separate AC units. Well as we all know we hit the triple digets this week whihc means time for the AC. We went to turn them on and yes BOTH units were blwoing warm air. Not good. Looking for a company I went to "to fix it" and found AC by J. I called and Jennifer was great as it was almost 3:00 in the afternoon and I thought it wouldn't be till next day to get it looked at. She said she would have someone out that day to look at it. I recieved a call around 4:45 telling me a tech was on his way. Tech arrived around 5:00 and went rigth to work evaluating each unit. Roy (the tech) was very professional and knew what he was doing. He got each unit working in about 45 minutes and th ehouse was now cooling down. I wasn't sure what to expect for a bill when he came back to the door, but it was extremely reasonable and there was no upsell or BS. Fast efficent service at a fair price. We have been using the Comfort Team for several to service our heating and A/C units. This spring (2012) we decided to replace our three units as they wer over 13 years old and served us well. Jays gave us a very competitive quote and we signed the contract. They came out with a full team and did all the work in less than a day. The techinicians were polite, do waht they were doing and cleaned up after themselves. They put down down tarps to ensure the carpeted areas were protected. They were careful not to scratch our wals or doors. My wife were very pleased with the service and the performance of the new units. I want to acknowledge Derrick L, Eric P, Josh,S, Steve.S, Steve. G and Matt.

Without a doubt after 35 years I've lived in Az. this is the best overall Air Conditioning company I have ever used. Highly professional and courteous staff and same goes for the tech who came to my house on a cold Sat. night at no extra charge.Unit was fixed in a timely manner and I thought at a very reasonable rate. I would highly reccomend this co. to anyone.

New roof unit installed with no problems. Installers informed us of an initial installation issue to make sure we were satisfied with the solution. Need to replace another unit and will certainly use them.

We actually ordered a new unit and it was installed without any drama or changes at all. It was so easy and quick. Eric and Steve did a great job installing the new unit. We are very satisfied.

I have lived in the Valley for 26 years. I have used Air Conditoning by jay for all those years. I wouldn't call anyone else for service or installation. The whole team: BJ, Joe,Derrick, Kara, Steve Flaherty, And Steve Grafanakis are the best. Always on time, always explain everything, and always with an exact price, no surprises!

BJ, Mike , and Derrick did an amazing job installing our air handler and condensor. They left the area they worked in cleaner than when they had arrived!! Thank you!!

My husband and I decided to replace our 1992 HVAC system in order to take advantage of the tax credit. We received several bids on a Trane XL16i 5-ton split heat pump 2 stage system. AC by Jay was the best bid and we felt we would be taken care of efficiently and timely. We were not disappointed. The salesman, Eric was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We scheduled the install which took only one day. The install team, Eric, Steve, and Derrick were clean, efficient, and pleasant to work with. They too answered all of our questions. Then the quality control guy, Steve, came to check the system. Once again, he was on time, clean, pleasant and patient with us. We are thrilled with our new system. It is so quiet. We would recommend this company with out any hesitation.

I'd heard good things about AC by Jay, and we liked the first service guy and the sales guy who sold us our new unit. However, I called twice to ask if they could advise me how to change the direction of the vent cover (they had put it on upside down), and never got a call back. THEN APS audited our new system for the rebate - it failed miserably. The vent work in the attic was so loosely sealed, that it was actually blowing dirt out of the attic through the vents. That was the major issue, but not the only one. Once contacted by APS, a service guy did come out, and fixed the issue. I was so disappointed that no one - not our sales guy, the service department - no one ever called to explain or apologize for having done such shoddy work. If they hadn't been audited, we wouldn't have known. It was a huge blow to their integrity as far as I'm concerned.

AC by Jay charged a large fee for a maintenance contract that I never signed and put the fee on my credit card unauthorized. When I tried to get a credit for the unauthoriazed amount the staff tried to force me to sign the contract by saying they would credit my card if I signed the contract. They refused to credit my account and would not return my phone calls. Finally, I had no choice but to dispute the charge through my credit card company.

Just last Friday, May 29th AC by Jay came out to install 2 units. They were the best......Steve, Eric, Justin and Richard. I refused to let them clean my house when they were finished. They actually started vacuuming! Those 4 installers were very professional, polite, knowledgeable and had great personalities. I don't know how they keep a smile on their face when they're in an attic that is about 135 degrees???

These guys show up on time and are all well trained and know there stuff. After some other companies sent out guys who didnt understand my unit, i called air conditioning by jay and the same day a technician showed up, fixed the unit and charged a reasonable price. its been fine every since. I would highly recomend them to anyone.

Another company told me I had a bad compressor that would cost over $2000.00 to repair. A friend recomended that I call Air Conditioning by Jay for a second opinion. I called Air Conditioning by Jay and they sent Jason out the same day. Jason found a bad start relay and repaired my unit in under an hour. The cost of the repair was $149.00. This was one of the hottest days of the summer. I highly recommend this company!
