Just had dinner at Don & Charlie's . Excellent choice if you like meat. There are a lot of choices, and also a very nice salad bar. The service was excellent.

My husband and I started to go to Don and Charlie's for our wedding anniversary a few years ago when we received a gift certificate. I immediately fell in love, love, love with the ribs! Well, actually, the barbeque sauce! It is (in my humble opinion) about as good as bbq can be.



The first year that we went, we had the best seat in the place- we had a great server and a quiet spot. In subsequent years, we have called ahead for a reservation and specified "our table" number (we asked what table it was when we were there the first time, so that we could request the same seat). WELL, that worked once, but not since. The hostesses seem unorganized and apathetic and it's disappointing to show up and be told that they couldn't hold our booth. What?!? We called a month ahead- you can't plan for that?



Unfortunately, we no longer spend our anniversaries here because of the lack of follow through when it comes to our reservations. The table wasn't ready on time (had to wait 30 minutes) and they fail to hold "our table" even though they promise to when we make the reservation.....that being said, my recommendation is to give them a try. The food is consistently good, but the service varies. Last time that we went (it has been over a year now), they sold the bottles of bbq sauce that you could take home. If you don't want to spend the money on a big steak and ribs meal, grab a bottle of sauce (or two)-- you won't regret it.

Awesome food! Been in business since the early 80's and it's only gotten better with time. Great place for steaks, ribs, chops and seafood. The desserts are to die for!
