I'll admit: I was skeptical about purchasing moissanite. My fiancé and I looked into several different options (including synthetic diamond). It was actually him who made the final decision on moissanite. However, I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about the engagement ring I now love and adore. The center stone was GIANT --2.16 carats (something we never could've afforded had it been diamond) --and it's surrounded by equally gorgeous smaller stones.



And the best part? NO ONE can tell the difference! I've even taken it to local jewelry stores (had to have it resized) and until they actually tested the stone with their tools, they couldn't tell a difference. In all, the ring cost about $1,600, and from my estimates, it would've been about $25,000 had it been diamond.



LADIES: don't settle on an engagement ring that has a small stone or a setting your don't love because you can't afford it. This was such a fantastic alternate route to buying diamonds, and the quality of both the band itself and the stones are incomparable. And, from what my fiancé has said, the purchasing process was a breeze. I would definitely buy from Schubach Jewelers again!

I bought a beautiful ring about a year ago, and never get to wear it. Have sent it back to get the stone reset once and it fell out again 2 weeks later, so I gave up on the ring....It looks real pretty in the box though.....even though it is in pieces....definitely NOT happy with the quality or the service, or even the fact that I now have over $800 invested in a ring that I can never wear again....would NOT recommend buying something that you plan on using from these jewelers!!!!
