I'm thankful to have a post office in Scottsville. Its schedule is antithetical to every working person who commutes to nearby employment centers like Charlottesville or Farmville. Carriers only run while we're at work so if you need to sign for a package you are completely out of luck. Tack another to-do on your long list for Saturday morning if you have the misfortune of working away from your home during the week.



I want to support USPS and union mail carriers but at the same time I want ineffective 20th century institutions like it to either transform or go away. Which do you choose USPS?

This USPS office offers poor service and is either always running late or an inconvenience altogether. I do not recommend this post office and recommend Fedex or UPS instead. It is no wonder at all with the peril the USPS is in if all offices are represented by this office.
