Awesome place, awesome owners.

Honest and won't pressure you into selling right then and there like some of the other places in the area. Really does pay the highest. This is also a great place to find unique items. I've picked up a few neat gifts here for friends. all in all, this is the only place I'll do business with in the future!

The owner was incredibly friendly and honest. He took his time going through all my silver coins, checking dates to get me the best prices. I'd do business here again in a heartbeat. I can highly recommend them!

I went here for the first time and spoke with the owner about cashing in some gold and silver. He was very nice and I could tell honest! I made a transaction with him and was very pleased! I recommend this place highly!

I needed a place to sell gold that i got from a family member I seen the other reviews about this place and decided to try them. I called and made a appt cause I had so much stuff the guy took his time & explained everything to me while checking the gold he gave me a price and I said I wanted to get one more price just to make sure and he said no problem and was very nice about it. The one thing that stuck out is how he did not try to pressure me to sell right at that moment & how friendly he was. I went the next day to two places the first told me half the price of what jimmy told me. The second place was closer to the price but the guy was very rude & pushy. I went back to scranton gold to sell the gold to them and Jimmy was so friendly He gave my son a Nerf football to take home. I would recomend this place to anyone looking to be comfortable and get A real honest deal.

Went to this shop in need of selling some gold. Was very pleased with the transaction. The man is very honest. It is a small little shop so I believe he gives good deals because no high overhead costs. He also has some very interesting items in his shop. Very nice guy. Check him out..

I'm so glad that my buddy told me about this gold buyer! They certainly live up to their name; the service is A1+++. I had tried to sell some of my old stuff at a few different dealers; but it didn't feel right, and their prices were way off. I sat down with Jim, and he weighed everything right before my eyes. The bottom line, I walked away happy and A1 will be my only spot for scrapping Gold & Silver from now on. Thanks for cluing me in Ed!

This is the place to go! I went to the mall and another place in downtown scranton to get estimates. I then went to scranton gold and the guy shocked me with the price. he was almost double what thier prices were. I have recomended a few of my friends and they all said the same. It is hard to trust anyone these days but this is the place to trust. This is a busy place so that says alot He Must be doing something right. The other great thing was the owners 4 year old son was there and was trying to help take care of the customers waiting behind me he was so cute.

What a great little shop I went to sell some coins & gold a family member left to me And the man there gave me a Higher price than 3 other local places. He is very very honest & does not make you feel as your being pressured to sell. He acutually recomended i keep some of the nicer pieces. There is no pressure & I will highly suggest you check him out. They also sell used items wich i was surprised to see this place is mor than a jewelry shop.
