Founded in 2001, Northeast Intermediate School offers classes in grades six through eight. It enrolls more than 850 students annually. The school offers classes in English, math, social studies, science, geography and history, as well as Spanish, French and German. Northeast Intermediate School offers sports activities in basketball, softball, and track and field. It also offers student programs in rhymes, poems, songs and dialogues. The school is a part of the Scranton School District, which operates elementary, middle and high schools, as well as offers classes from kindergarten through grade 12. Northeast Intermediate School is located in Scranton, Pa.
