I went to Pep Boys with a damaged tire. I asked for a matching tire. I wanted a falken tire and the service manager told me I have to order 4 and they were the only local dealer. Sandone had it and sold me one. Pep Boys is a scam shop in my opinion

said it would cost $1000 to change brakes, said screw it and changed them myself for $86 ($50 of which was labor). said I needed new rotors (b.s.) if you go there you are sick in the head.

This will be our last time going there!! We have spent over $2000.00 on tires. We went to send rebate in & NOT ONCE BUT TWICE THEY GAVE US THE WRONG REBATE FORM!! I CALLED 2x's the mgr. Said it was mailed!! Tires were purchased 5/1/12 today is 5/14/12 haven't received in mail! Should have received the next day..

misdiagnosis of my mazda rx8 was told it had blown engine when in fact it was flooded which happens with this make.did not have spark plugs and did not recharge my new battery.i had car towed to mazda dealer which corrected the problem in one hour.engine was fine.pep boy mechanic said as we left he had not much experience with this model.there were many twists and turns which led me to have car towed to pep boys this thanksgiving weekend my son whom owns the car and myself and a third party are from 3 different states had only a day and ahalf to complete this task, and to hear Blown engine without much diagnosis is hard to swallow.unfortunately every service station was closed till today,monday.stick to oil and tire changes
