After reading the other negative review I was hesitant to go here but had items wanted to sell so figured I would try anyway and expected the worse. However! I have no clue what this reviewer is talking about - I had a great experience and was impressed on how the staff was managing the amount of customers brining in and dropping off items. I got there at 9:05am per the woman on phones suggestion to come when they open. Now I see why, I was 5th in line to bring items in. I shopped round after putting my name on the list and found two great items that totaled $11. The smaller toys are repackaged in cellophane bag with cardboard OUAC logo so my daughter opened like was a brand new toy and was trilled to get a doll that she was wanting (and I paid $5 instead of $25!!)

I can't wait to bring in more items that she has outgrown AND pick up some 'new' at a steal!!

This place is not a place of guvung opportunities. They only collect designer clothing so don't bother wasting your time if you typically shop The Children's Place or Kohl's. They will degrade you and belittle you for the types of clothes you wear. The girls who work there are too young to know anything about chidren's clothes and the management are nasty. They do not run this in any way to benefit others it is NOT A THRIFT SHOP. There are plenty of other ppl that can put your used clothing to good use. I hope we get them out of Long Island soon. Thrift shops could use the business. I rate this less than one star.

I had a horrible experience with the staff from this store. First, I was not told that they do not except clothing in a bag. Then the clerk proceeded to tell me that I did not have any clothing that was high end. I guess GAP, Tommy Hilfiger, Polo, Nautical, Adidas, and Nike are all low end retail. The clerk was just upset because she did not want to look through my clothing. I will never go back there. If you are in the retail business you should be polite, friendly, and respectful to others, NOT rude, lazy, and disrespectful to customers. I proceeded to explain to her and she clasped her hands together and then again told me that my clothing was not high end. Once again, I will not be returning to this establishment where they treat there customers rudely. One disappointed customer.

This second-hand store of children's items is the best. There is a nice selection of clothing, toys, books, videos, and baby gear. This store only accepts items in pristine condition and is a great store!
