The first time I went to Abelina's, the food was good, the place was redone inside, but the service very slow (particularly bringing the check, I ended up just approaching the counter).



The second time I went there, the service was better, and the proprietor (perhaps Abelina herself?) very sweet, friendly, accommodating, speaks fluent English, and attentive to our needs.



This is a fledgling business, and it needs you to know about it and to try it with your friends so that they can succeed! I see no reason not to go there, they seem like very good hardworking people who make pretty tasty food, so if you are tired of Cazadores, Los Amigos, Mesquite Mexican Grill, the shady taqueria on US90, or just want to mix it up a bit, go here! Support your local businesses!



Also, don't let the exterior fool you. They've completed remodeled the place and it is very neat and clean and bright and new inside. The menu isn't huge, nor is the cafe, but they do serve breakfast too! (They open at 8.)
