After driving by for the past 2 months and seeining

ive eaten here three times and everytime it was greasy and tasted old. i wont be going back.

I have to say that their $4.95 breakfast can not be beaten. In our 5 years of living here in Sealy only once did we get bad service and the evening manager took care of it immediately. We eat here at least once a week.

We finally stopped by and gave the restaurant a shot. we had heard good thing via inlaws and Texas Monthly. We were quite disappointed. I does have that older cafe feeling, like the checkered flooring and the glass dessert cases. But the immediate smell of the cigarette smoke starts to choke you out. Sit in the back, non smoking.



We tried the typical country food things, chicken fried steak, fries and salad. My wife had the cheese burger. The salad was pathetic and did not get the dressing I ordered. Steak was a seemingly hand breaded, but bland. What a shame. My wifes burger was what she describes as, tough cardboard.

We tried a slice of apple pie. Big thick lard crust and canned apples. Well the ice cream was good.

The service was decent though...Thanks

As Family, First time eating in this place from a road trip. Friendly staff, great breakfast which is a plus, Definitely will go back on the road trip.

Very good food and very close to home cooking
