Provided by YPmobileHave a home warranty, for a home we bought. It was difficult to get Ameriwise to return telephone calls, they promised they would be out on Thursday, but rescheduled for Friday. They stated I need to up grade my home sewer system to a 3 inch clean out. They replaced 40 feet of pipe under our home
warranty, but advised us the the 3 inch clean out was not covered under the home warranty. They quoted me over $400.00 for one piece of PVC piping, I asked what the total cost of the job would of been, they stated about $1,500. I just don't understand, that by adding one PVC fitting changing a two inch clean out to 3 inch would cost over $400.00, or one quater of the total cost. I must say the employees that performed the work were easy to work with, but Ameriwise tried to put extra cash in their pocket with the upgrade they stated I needed. $100.00, $150.00 yes but $400.00 was way too much. I would not do business with them again, only if my home warranty company stated I had to use them, $400.00 was way too much.

Provided by YPmobileThis company seriously overcharges. The two guys charged me $170 per hour while driving somewhere to get some parts. Apparently they claim that should be considered as part of labor. Outrageous! Who knows what they were doing during the hour out of sight? They could have just taken their lunch break for the entire hour after picking up some stuff which they should have had with them in the first place. The two were not always working together either. While one was doing something, the other guy was often just standing there watching, and yet they still charge for two! They also charged me for parts that they ended up not using in the end when the project had to be modified. They made a mess and didn't clean up properly, leaving black grease marks on my doors, cabinets and walls. The worst part was the guy using the bathroom after turning off the main line and leaving without flushing after the work was done. Horrendous experience! I am going to contact the better business bureau about their labor charge tactics.
