AVOID THIS PLACE!!! American Elevator Corporation has been UNETHICAL, UNRESPONSIVE, and UNPROFESSIONAL. Quick to take your money yet extremely slow to provide service. DISHONORABLE sales rep, unprofessional mechanics, SHADY and TARDY service are the nicest things I can say about this local family owned business.

Contracted them to install Bruno 3000 Elam stairlift in my house for a disabled family member. Took them a month to install the equipment another month to get an inspector out to my house. The stairlift failed the inspection! They did not resolve the issue so the stairlift was unusable. In an unexpected turn of event, my family member passed away suddenly. The next day I asked them to remove the non-functional stairlift and requested a refund explaining my situation to the sales rep, the company owner's son. Multiple phone calls to company phone number and residential sales rep cell phone, also emailed sales rep, yet either no response, or I am transferred to a disconnected extension. I have been very patient with this company considering they've stolen almost $6000 from me.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS with this company unless you want to be SCAMMED, have your HOME DAMAGED, and treated in a CONDESCENDING manner. American Elevator Corp are a FRAUDULENT business!
