I recommend Dr. Kimpton unreservedly to anyone seeking expert care for their vision. I have been a patient for 30 years. I’ve received excellent professional care from him and his staff. I’ve never waited in the waiting room for more that 15 minutes. Diagnostic information I receive is clear and concise. His recommendations for treatment equally so. Dr. Kimpton knows I’m incredibly picky about my vision and takes the time to ensure the result is the best it can be. His staff has also been incredibly helpful in helping me achieve my goal of great vision. I intend to continue as a patient until one of us retires. I’m hoping I’m first.

I can't say enough about Dr. Kimpton and his staff. I have a very difficult contact lens prescription due to my astigmatism in my left eye. I had always struggled with dry, red and irritated eyes due to poor fitting lenses until I walked through the doors at Ballard Optical about ten years ago. Dr. Kimpton sat me down, took a complete history and found a lens that was the perfect fit. I honestly feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I'm not going around with Visine in my pocket and dealing with constant discomfort any longer.As if that wasn't enough, his staff walked me through their extensive frame selection, honored my budget and found a pair of glasses that were stunning on me. I've had a couple of other pairs since that time and they've been beautiful, comfortable and stylish. I've had many compliments over the years on my glasses.Dr. Kimpton has been caring and gentle with my aging parents. They love him too!
