I went here in September '09 and it looked like a decent place for lunch. After my wife and I ordered our food we saw a roach run out from under the picture on the wall. We immediatley told the owner and he simply offered us another table as if it was perfectly normal. Sinbce then I have spoken to some people that have gone there (including one of the people that rented to apartment upstairs) and they all recommended staying away from that place. The guy that rented to room upstairs ended up having to move because of roach infestation.



I work in the U-District and eaten at just about every place on the Ave from 40th to Ravenna and have not encountered this before. If you wabt good Indian food head a couple blocks west to Roosevelt and try Bombay Grill or India Bistro, at the very least they are bug free.

High Quality Indian cuisine

I can't get the deliciously crispy spinach naan out of my mind. I also tremendously enjoy the royal biriyani, which automatically comes with a serving of raita. Good appetizers such as hummus.
