Dennis Moss is a jazz guitarist/bandleader serving the Pacific Northwest and beyond. He performs regularly at weddings, corporate events, private parties, restaurants, lounges, wine bars and festivals. Dennis has performed in venues such as McCaw Hall at the Seattle Center, the Seattle Aquarium, University of Washington South Campus Center, VIRGINIA V Historic Ship and Antioch University. Dennis has had the honor of performing for distinguished clients such as Seattle City Council member Jan Drago and Tacoma Mayorial Candidate Jim Merritt. Dennis offers professional solo and ensemble (duo-quartet) performances. His music has been described as "upbeat, seductive and relaxing". Dennis works with top NW jazz musicians and clients can expect quality, memorable experiences. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Music from Cornish College of the Arts. He earned multiple talent-based scholarships and graduated with honors. There are several unique aspects of Dennis' playing that set him apart. A fingerstylist, Dennis has a gorgeous tone and he plays the seven-string guitar. He has a strong harmonic sense and his voicings are unique among guitarists. His ability to take on multiple roles simultaneously (combining melody, harmony and bass lines) makes Dennis a perfect fit for small ensemble and solo performances.
