After using Uhaul and Budget for moving in the past, I decided to call around when I needed a truck for my most recent move. The guy that answered the phone was very nice and flexible considering I didn't have an exact date for my move yet. For prices, they were very competitive, and I ended up making a reservation with them. This was the easiest and fastest pick up for a rental I have ever experienced! They had most of my paperwork ready to go, their office is nice and clean, and the people that work there are very attentive and nice. Last time I went to Uhaul, I had to walk around the parking lot to find someone to help me, it took 30 minutes to find a truck (that I had a reservation for) and do my paperwork, and the truck I got was a total piece of crap that I thought was going to die on me! My past experience with Budget was slightly better than that, but not by much. I was surprised by how nice the truck was, plus they explained all of the features to me. When I returned it, that process was easy as well. No surprise charges, easy as pie. I felt so crappy with my last rental with Uhaul, I promised I would post something about this good experience. Next time, I won't call around. Considering the service, truck, and time savings, they are definitely the best value.
