"Dr. Ausk attended medical school at the University of Washington, where she also completed Internal Medicine residency, chief residency, and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology. She is the associate director of the Swedish IBD Center, providing multidisciplinary and integrated care for patients with inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis. Dr. Ausk believes that healthcare providers have the privilege of accompanying patients and their families through the often-stressful times brought on by an illness.
