Provided by YP.comMost of us think Les Schwab has great customer service but, i've Had a far different experience. I went to George Town branch in Seattle which had me waiting for over 6 hours between 2 different visits on what should have been a far shorter single visit for simple brake work and a few other fairly standard things.
After the work was finally complete and leaving for vacation my van with "brand new brake lines" FAILED.. causing a near fatal situation with me almost slamming into an RV while my brakes went straight to the floor. It was the middle of the night, middle of nowhere, and no cell signal . I had no choice to but, to drive for over 100 terrifying miles to get to safety by using my transmission to gear down and slow the van. This of course resulted in my transmission (which I had checked before I left) to FAIL as well.
Seeking reimbursement as the issue was caused by someone improperly installing a brake-line and the resulting trek to safety cost me a transmission as well as a few years off my life due to nerve wracking stress and near death experiences. When I contacted the company they sent me to "Denny" who's only job seems to be to make me feel like it was my fault they messed up the install. The company of great customer service all of a sudden doesn't want to take responsibility for its wrong doing or actions even though it cost me thousands of dollars and days of my vacation time to correct.
It makes me wonder how many others out there have had this same terrible experience with Les Schwab once their negligence causes damage. I'm sure "Denny" has taken advantage of many people in the past and It seems the amounts are out just not enough to sue and/or the effort to go against them to get it is almost not worth it..
I'm annoyed with this lack of integrity and I plan to do something about..... If you have had a same or similar experience with Les Schawab not taking responsibility for their part in your accident, near accident, or damage to your pocket book send me an email..I would be interested in hearing your story.. my email is..
