UW Medical Center - Northwest provides inpatient rehabilitation care to patients recovering from a variety of medical conditions, injuries and illnesses. Our goal is to help patients return to normal, productive lives as quickly as possible. Our team of specialists includes rehabilitation physicians, psychologists and counselors; physical and occupational therapists; speech pathologists; nurses; and social workers. As a part of the rehabilitation program, patients and their family meet regularly with the team to discuss the patient's progress and set realistic and achievable goals. These services are intensive, and patients must be capable of performing several hours of therapies each day to participate.
