Steamer Virginia V - A National Historic Place
860 Terry Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109
Built in 1922 and beautifully restored, the steamer Virginia V is an authentic wooden-hulled ship with a fully-operational 100 year-old steam engine. Originally part of the “Mosquito Fleet” servicing Seattle and Tacoma, the Virginia V has served the communities of Washington State as a charter vessel for hire since the 1940’s. Since then, she has been utilized as a venue for office parties, holiday parties, birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, and other celebrations. The Virginia V is the rare artifact from our shared maritime past that has been kept alive and functional over her 90 years of existence. She is truly a treasure of the Puget Sound.
