I brought in a new kids quality Jcrew fishtail parka dry clean only

With a few small food stains for dry cleaning and it came back clean but ruined. All the faux fur around the hood melted all of its soft long hairy fluff. When I pointed it out and asked for an explanation someone named Lee said it was fine and she would fix ? Ok I let her " fix it" and it was the same just brushed out a little still melted and 1/2 the lengths no soft fluff just short melted rough mess. I showed her the cost on line what it looked like before I bright it in the $169.00 I paid for it and asked her for my 17$ I paid to ruin my coat back and an apology or explanation. I also showed her the new coat I bought same ( on sale 80$)

She only offered me a 10$ check from her boss in 3 days ! No apology no new coat ($168) not even the full amount of the dry cleaning. She wouldn't give me the name of the owner or her boss that would issue the 10$ check. When I asked for the owner she gave me 15$ cash and was very rude acting like I did something terrible to her. I'm out $168 no apology she didn't talk at all as if she couldn't understand English or speak. I should take the owner to small claims court to teach the business a lesson. This kind of behavior should be illegal. It was a terrible experience!

The people running this business, especially the woman owner or co-owner, were abrupt and dismissive the first time we dealt with them but we decided to give them another chance - everyone has bad days. What a mistake! The next time we went in they went out of their way to be rude and unfriendly. It's a very strange way to run a business. I used to feel sorry for them - they never seemed to have anyone going in there. Now I know why.
