I cant tell you, how many times my heart has been jumped started by the blare of the fire truck and ambulance responding to a call, and how many times it was unnecessary, with no traffic anywhere in sight. In the evenings and even late at night, the responders are coming down barefoot blvd., blowing there sirens horns, and not a car in sight. I can get to anywhere in barefoot bay, w/o any lights or sirens, in just a matter of minutes. sometimes I know you have to use the sirens, but here in the bay, thats not very many times. please some consideration for those of us that live on the blvd. and dont need to be scared out of our witts from loud blasts of those horns.

last night three ambulances, three sheriffs cars, three or four fire trucks responded to a structure fire here in the bay, and they stayed for hours, leaving after one a.m. I was wondering if this is a good use of emergency equipment.would seem that the first responder should have called off most of this equipment, one truck with a five inch hose, can knock down just about any home in the park. three ambulances, come on.

I do want to say, that i really appreciate our fire dept., they have been doing a great job for years. I have been here since chief ron beatty days, and i dont want anybody taking my comments in the wrong light. sometimes seeing things from the outside helps to make a dept., even better than it is,and thats my reason for writting.
