Unless you're dieing in the next 30 seconds, skip this place and head for Heartland Regional. Totally inept, apparently no doctors in hospital ER until called in. They leave you to rot in a treatment room forever.

Hospital is nice. Good medical service. HOWEVER, the billing is a nightmare. We were billed for the wrong hospital, claims were submitted to the wrong insurance office, claims were not submitted. Once the claims were submitted to the proper insurance office, it was paid. HOWEVER, the hosptal failed to notify the collection agency, North American Credit Services, that the bill had been paid. We get calls and letters for payment from the collection agency, but the hospital and collection agency seem to be unable to resolve their problem with clearing the books. I live very close to this hospital, but I will not use this one again.

This number is for Parish Nursing - not the main number for Florida Hospital Heartland Division. When I apologized for calling the wrong number, and asked a question, the person on the other end hung up on me.
