Provided by YPmobileRolling into Hopitutsqua, the tourist will not find a 5 star hotel or three star Michelin experience. It is tourism Hopi style. Expect a comfortable, decent room, American Diner and Hopi Traditional food, arts parking lot vendor and brick and mortar crafts vendor styles.
The Hopi Museum will guide the tourist through Hopi geography, culture, history and a bit of language.
I have stayed in Cultural Center lodgings many times. I have preferred the lodging here over staying in Flagstaff and adding 140 commuting miles to my work days
I've found the Hopi food items on the menu excellent. I recommend anything with blue corn when it is offered. In October 2018, I found out the pies are made in the kitchen and couldn't stop the family from eating the blueberry a la mode after the said, "No dessert please."
As for the arts, every color, every design, every shape has meaning a depth in the Hopi culture. Katsinas are physical representations of life's trials, tribulations and the strength and flexibility needed to farm and thrive in the 12-14 inch precip zone. There are worthy lessons here if one wishes to learn and listen. However, one of my favorite purchases at HCC was a carved Navajo prairie dog wearing a cowboy hat with a real buckskin stampede strap.
I suggest Harry C. James "Pages from Hopi History", Neil David Senior's "Hopi World" if you want to wade in Hopi waters.
