I have bought 2 cars and 3 trucks from Mark’s over the past 10 years. The most recent is a 2015 Toyota Tacoma with 800 miles on it. Love the truck. I still have a 2003 Ford F150 farm truck that I have had for 5 years put 100,000 hard miles on and have spent less than $400 on maintenance. I put a lot of miles on a vehicle and have had nothing but good experiences. Mark’s has always been up front with details about his used cars. I have always got a good deal for my money.

Steer Clear

STAY AWAY!!!! I bought a $10000 truck from here and it was dark and they were closing soon so I didn't get to look at it as good as I hoped. Anyway the truck seemed good to go in the semi darkness, there's only so much one can do with a flashlight. I drove a long way and I pretty much knew I was gonna take the truck so I over looked a few things. So I test drove it and gave it the once over and everything was well and fine. I asked the owner of the car lot if there was any rust, probs, or otherwise and he said no of course. Little do I find out not even 24 hours after I pull off the lot every warning lights up on the dash, theres paint falling off of where they just painted per the owner and you can see where someone just painted over existing rust. So I call the owner to see what we can do and he tells me to kick rocks basically. On top of all that the whole time it seemed like I was inconveniencing him just for being there, I should have walked around right then. Im almost forgetting the battery that was in the truck was dead and I had to buy a new one the next day. He said that there was a new batt in there but then he goes on to say he had it on the charger at one point too. I dont know why you would put a new batt on a charger for no reson but I guess he knows something I dont. Lets forget about using a computer or getting a fax there your on your own if you need your bank or insurance to fax or email. If I could do it over I would have walked away for sure, steer clear folks and save yourself the time, money, and headache.

Run away as fast as you can!...

Bought a 06 Ford Expedition and made it 25 miles home before it blew up! Called Donnie and told him I wanted him to come with my check and take the SUV back and was told they wouldn't to that. I was left on the side of I70 stranded with no help offered from them at all! Go somewhere else to buy a car! Took 3 days and $1300 to get the car home, now it's at a shop getting fixed for how much I don't know!

Crap and lies!!!!

Called them to inquire about a car. Was told that it was a "really clean, low mile car". Asked them if it had any issues as it was 215 miles one way and didn't want to waste gas if it had issues. Was told "No issues". Made the trip, as I walk to the car the salesman opened the car with the key rather than the key fob. I tried unlocking the door using the power locks and he said "Oh ya, that doesn't work." Started the motor and at 2000 rpm the motor had bad vibration/knocking. Looked underneath the car and had two large puddles of oil. Check and the underside of the motor had fresh oil leaking out of it. Asked the salesman about the noise/leaks and was told "You could have a mechanic look at it". They had no problems lying to me so be warned. I wasted around 60.00 in gas looking at the junk they have on their lot.

What a joke. Put a deposit down to hold a vehicle while i went to my local credit union. They told the dealership what they needed: Buyers Order with VIN# and front and back copy of the title faxed to them. Pretty standard stuff. A week went by so i called the bank and they said they only faxed half of the title and the buyers order had no VIN. During this time i was being harassed seeing when i was picking this vehicle up as my $100 deposit wouldnt hold it forever. Like its my fault that these buffoons cant use a fax machine. Finally got everything from them to the bank so called to tell them when i would pick it up and proceeded to get yelled at by the owner about how i needed to get my act together and he wasnt holding it any longer and if i came up with the money and IF he still had the vehicle then he would sell it to me. Really? Because nobody was waiting on me; i already had my loan approved and already had the vehicle insured! The bank couldnt finish the loan without a copy of the title or a VIN #. You would think any reputable car dealership would know these things instead of just blaming it on their customers. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

Entertaining!!! If you talk to these guys, all other car dealers will seem like they really care. I drove 120 miles to look at something I thought looked really nice, turned out it part of it had been repainted, and not the best of jobs. He told be about how all of the used cars goes through a great inspection, and every thing is right on all the cars. When I got there the car had a half inch of dust on it, they said that the battery was bad and they just replaced it, and that part is probably true, but why was the battery no good is what I am wondering. It was oviously in a wreck at one time, so was there a ground out in the wireing? I don't know? But I do know as soon as I started it and tried to use the windshield wipers, the wipers fell off, I guess they missed that in the inspection? I went to test drive it and as soon as we got going 40mph the car started to shake really bad, they said well the tires is probably low, and that could be part of the problem? Well they were really low, so the tires had leaks, they were also miss matched tires, three different brands of tires on it witch tells me one of three things 1) the guy who had it before couldn't afford a matched set, so what else could he not afford to do to the car, change the oil??? 2) he couldn't keep a set of tires on the back from running the heck out of it? or 3) it was in a wreck, and they got it from some auto auction and threw what ever tires they had laying around just to get something on it and get it rolling down the road. Any way you look at it the car was junk. Then they tried to offer thousands less than KBB and NADA trade in value on my car. I have no problem with a car dealer making money, that is the only way for them to stay in bussiness, but WOO-HOO this guy is tring to retire early and thought he seen a sucker comming in there!!! He offered to give me about 1/3 of what my car was worth, in trade towards his junk. I know why he is a used car dealer, no new car manufacturer would have him as a sales rep. But like I said it is entertaining, so be sure to go see this guy after talking to a few other dealers, and you will know what I mean!! Anything comming from him I would want inspected from someone that I trusted, if you don't know cars good, be sure to have someone who knows what to look for before you buy anything from this guy!!!

They are not worth the drive. ...

They are not worth the drive. I called before I drove an hour and a half out there to see if the vehicle I was looking at was worth the drive and also if they were interested with my truck. One sales person began to tell me, "I will give you blue book value for your vehicle," and that the truck I was asking about ( 2004 Dodge Dakota V8 with a 5-speed manual transmission) was in great shape. I checked the VIN before going to see the truck, it has been in 2 accidents that have been reported on car fax, he wasn't even aware that it had been wrecked, shouldn't you check that before pricing something and making a fool out of yourself since I knew something about his truck he didn't know ;)??? Once I got there he told me only $6,900 for my truck which is $2,000 under the poor condition on kelly blue book?? Terrible service and they tried to screw me over since I'm 20 years old I guess... Also good luck trying to walk around their overly crowded lot bumper to bumper
