I had been going to Total Salon for about seven years or more, so one day I called for an appointment, decided to have my hair permed, over a highlight, not knowing, it would frizz and die, Total Salon used the wrong kind of perm on my color treated hair. I called three times, got three different people, and they all three said they didn't work that day, I came in, well, one of those three, fried my hair royally. I looked like Phyllis Diller. Litterally, I wanted my money refunded, finally got it, minus five dollars, and was told to never come back. I know there are two sides to every story, this is mine and I am sticking to it. I loved going here, everyone was always so friendly, I don't understand how the owner could have been so cruel. I didn't have much money at that time, and my hair was FRIED! I was told to use cocoanut oil on it, so I did this for more than a week, awful, frustrating, but I did it to make my hair lay down right, and not stand straight out when I pulled it sideways. I am sorry TOTAL SALON, but you need to treat ALL your customers with dignity and respect. I didn't ask to a frizz, I asked for a perm. I was also told by a professional this should never have happened with today's wonderful products out on the market, the stylist should have used a perm suited to my color treated hair, not the one that WAS used. I wouldn't have gone back anyway. I know most have probably had very good luck with this salon, NOT ME.
