I was traveling solo...took a good 25 minutes for someone to take my order. The food was terrible. I ordered a salad. How hard is it to mess that up? I wouldn't bother with this one.

Must be the worst dining experience EVER.. #1 took over 10 minutes for a waitress to acknowledge we were sitting in the middle of her section. #2 salsa tasted like stewed tomatoes, and nothing more, salt not even a savior, which we had to request after waiting so long for our meal #3 ordered a breakfast burrito, raw egg whites and mushrooms in a burrito that didn't list them in the description. After sending my meal back and waiting for my ENTIRE table to finish their breakfast #4 received a burrito with a core of unmelted cheese, completely inedible. The only saving grace to this meal was the green sauce.. Whats most disappointing is the rave reviews I proclaimed all weekend, I cant believe I waisted my breath on accolades for this place not to mention embarrassing..I will never return, no matter what the price.. STAY AWAY, try another, HIGHER quality restaurant downtown..

Provided by YP.comI wanted to treat a friend to Mexican food while in Sedona, I have never been to a Mexican Food Restaurante that did not serve complementary chips and salsa. Everyone else in the place seem to have chips but we didn't get any and when we ask the waiter said they are an appetizer., ok, so every one else had ordered the same appetizer? Then he didn't even ask if we wanted some. When he brought our food he spilled a dish of beans and didn't even apologize. The meal was way overpriced (which I expected for Sedona) but come on. The food wasn't that great and service was poor. The waiter didn't even come to check on us again until he brought the bill. $30 for a bean burro and a veg burro and 2 glasses of tea. Not even a Margarita

I am a local from Flagstaff and took a friend to Oaxaca as we were both craving Mexican food. The food was simply not good or up to par with what one would expect of a restaurant in Sedona right on the strip. I would have been happier with Del Taco and it would have cost a heck of a lot less. AND, chips and salsa are not included. You have to ask and there is a charge (they never offered). The Habanero salsa that was advertised as Wicked hot was warm to the pallet and did not taste homemade. I had to ask the waitress 3 times to bring my salsa so I could start on my sad looking fish tacos. The upstairs 'with a view' has absolutely no ambience. We paid $30 for lunch for 2 (not including drinks). Marginal food, marginal service, no ambiance and OVER priced. Disappointed and never going back.
