Provided by YP.comI recently had a bad experience at captain Jacks clam shack so I wrote a review on Facebook about it... instead of the management fixing the situation they targeted me posted pictures of me from their security cameras wrote derogatory comments about me threatened they were reporting me to local athuroties as if I did something wrong and I was not in titled to a bad review after horrible service! Patrons be ware where you dine! You might end up stalked by theses people as I have been!

Provided by YPmobileThis restaurant is new to the area and it seems as though the ownership has no experience running a restaurant. They are understaffed and the few waitresses they have are very young and inexperienced. I fear they will go out if business for this reason. I really enjoy seafood and want them to prosper. They must hire more help and more experienced personel. The food takes too long currently they need to get it out quicker as well. The only saving grace is the food itself is dynamite. But in a service oriented business even if the food is great it won't survive with out good help and set procedures.

Provided by YPmobileMe and my wife went to captain jacks clam shack and we had an unbelievable experience. When we first walked into the restaraunt we were greeted by a nice hello, and were told to sit anywhere that we felt comftorable. When we found a place to sit the waitress gave us home made chips with there home made crab dip which was delightfull. After looking at the menu we ordered cups of new england clam chowder and 3 clam cakes. There chowder closely rivaled michalettis, which by the way two years in a row won best chowder at the chowderfest in newport, and there clamcakes were just as good. After enjoying our appetizer we ordered our entree fish and chips. They brought it out to us from start to finish it took about 1 hour so really quick, but the fish was succulent pair with 1 whole lemon, which I requested and homemade delightful hand cut fries. The food I would rate 10/10 the atmosphere I would rate 10/10 and the service I would rate 10/10. Absolutely a great dining experience.
