The Model of Professionalism

I have been shopping with this store since it's opening over a year and a half ago. The staff has always been friendly and quick to respond. With each visit I am promptly welcomed and treated with the utmost respect. The selection of retro games is top notch and I never fail to find something to buy (whether I actually need it or not). As each game is cleaned or refinished I never feel apprehensive about purchasing a used game. The prices are competetive, the staff friendly, and the store is clean and organized. Best gaming store in the area bar-none.

Nice Store

I went to this store with my girlfriend as it is near her mother's house. The people there are friendly and helpful. I played Wii Bowling with the manager.

You sir, are ill-informed

Your review seems very biased and uneducated. The store owner does not use the "buy it now" price, he typically averages the prices that the game is sold for and leans towards the low end at that. Snow Brothers for the NES for example ranges from $55-$85 not including the cost of shipping and none of those are brand new or factory sealed. Play N Trade has this priced at $59.99. Earthbound for the SNES sells online with it's lowest price being $85 and from there goes for up to $210, again, not factory sealed or new and he sells it at his store for $99.99. You say that they don't take care of their products and used the discs as an example, yet, they clean and repair every single disc as soon as it comes in on trade, offer a 30-day gurantee on all games, systems, and a 15 day gurantee on accessories. They also offer to repair discs that you've scratched for $5 and in my opinion that's a lot better than buying another fifty or sixty dollar game. On top of it all the staff there is more customer friendly than any other game store that I've been to in the area and make me feel like they know me every time I go in there. Maybe you went to a different Play N Trade location but I know for a fact that at the seffner Play N Trade everything that you stated they do in your review is incorrect.

Actually, we do look at "Buy it now" prices on Amazon (among other things) to make sure we are offering the most competitive prices for our customers. It is not this store's policy to "average", but to price comparable items at a lower price than the lowest price found online at the time they come in. We also price match, so if you find a lower price from a reputable store elsewhere, bring us the current ad or show us the current listing and we'll match it. The Seffner store is independently owned by area native Debbie Dudinetz (Armwood Class of 1988) and operated by her husband Quent Atkinson (Tampa Bay Christian Class of 1990). Policies of this store are not necessarily those of other Play N Trade stores.
