I brought my daughter here after taking her to a number of other schools on LI. She was being bullied in school, and all the other places I brought her to tried to teach her how to be a fighter, but she is not a fighter. She is a sweet girl with a good and nice disposition. She doesn't have the "karate" face, or that gotta take one to give one mentality. Anyway I brought her to this school, and she fit right in with the other kids, many of which had been bullied in school as well. The self-defense that she learned at this school gave her the confidence to be able to stand up for herself, and defend herself from these bullies. I am happy to say that she is no longer bullied in school anymore, and she now has a lot better outlook on life. I highly recommend this school to any parent that is looking for a place that can teach their child real self-defense. Oh and I almost forgot. Most of the other self-defense schools that I took my daughter to had us sign up for year long contracts which was very expensive. I had to bite the bullet on some money because they just were not doing anything for her. This school has no contracts, and is very reasonably priced. To be honest, it's the best place around as far as I can tell.
