Schwerman Trucking Company is a subsidiary of Tankstar USA, which began in 1913 and is one of the largest bulk motor carriers in the United States. Tankstar USA also manages Rogers Cartage Company, Wheatfield Trucking Company, Bulk Logistics, and North American Bulk Transport. It maintains training centers in Chattanooga in Tennessee and Fairborn in Ohio.
