Its bakery department offers fresh baked breads, rolls and cookies, and custom-designed birthday and wedding cakes. Some of its stores provide a range of deli salads, side dishes, fried or rotisserie cooked chicken for lunch, dinner or picnics. The produce department includes a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, seasonal favorites and specialty items. It operates a floral department, which provides floral delivery and arrangement services. Its stores provide a selection of seafood and customized party trays. In addition, Homeland Stores operates a number of pharmacy locations. The Homeland One Card provides customers with rewards, double coupons and sweepstakes entries. The stores organize various community programs, including Dollars for Schools and The New Food Pyramid, which offers a personal eating plan and a detailed assessment of food intake and physical activity level.
