Northwood Elementary serves students in grades four through six. Its academic curriculum includes English, math, science, social studies and language arts. The school has a library and media center that houses more than 9,000 fiction, nonfiction and reference books. Northwood Elementary school s library also offers an accelerated reader program, as well as video tapes about parenting issues for parents. The school supplies a range of items, such as crayons, pencils, markers, scissors, glue sticks, boxes, watercolors, highlighters and notebooks. In addition, Northwood Elementary organizes an annual science fair . Located in Seminole, Okla., the school is a part of Seminole Public Schools.
