Provided by YP.comOn March 14 my husband and I were going out of town, We kenneled our two poodles with the Senatobia Animal Hospital. On March 17 we came back and went to get our dogs. When they brought our dogs out, our youngest poodle had a cough, hes a bit of a barker so we figured kennel cough, barking along with the other dogs. This was on Saturday they close at 12.00 P.M., so all day he still had a cough but he was drinking alot of water which I thought was helping his throat, the hoarsness. On Sunday morning we woke up to our precious poodle dead, I believe he caught something in this shelter, I dropped a healthy dog off and got a sick one back. On Sunday went to shelter spoke to Dr. Slocum, said he been out all week, no idea whats going on.Went back Monday morning to get answers and all we got was they were tired of my attitude. They gave me my 60.00 back for kenneling my dogs and sent me away. The place has to be infected, you don't drop off a healthy dog and after picking him up he died within 24 hours of their care. I kept him alive for over 14 years, they killed him in 4 days. I miss my Apollo.......

Provided by YP.comI have been going to Coldwater and Senatobia office for 25 year's Dr. Slocam and Dr. Gordon have saved many dog's and horse's in this length of time. They treat all of my animal's with love and compassion, the staff at both office's are wonderful and caring. Also Dr. Brian is very good they all care so much for each animal ,and I am a animal lover how they put up with me when I am concerned about one of my animal's is a job in it's self lol. I will never go anywhere else I have seen them help my animal's when I didn't think they would make it and they saved them. Dr. Slocam has a cemetery at his place where he buries animals for people free. I have never seen compassion like that from any vet they all care very much and are excellent vet's to my animal's.

Provided by YP.comI never get to meet the veterinarian treating my dogs or convey the problems they are having to the doctor. All discussion goes through the receptionist and she sometimes forgets to write things down. I get the feeling they treat my "kids" like just another animal and they are so much more than that to me. Of the other four vet clinics I've been to, all are overpriced so I now take them with me to visit relatives and have them treated 400 miles from where I live. Shoddy service does not deserve rewards in my book of ethics.

Provided by YP.comI took my miniature pinscher to another vet 3 times and they couldnt figure out what was wrong with my puppy. I took him to Dr. Slocum and he knew what the problem was right away.Dr. Slocum has many years of experience with animals and that was why he knew right away what was wrong with my puppy.
