I have visited this McDonald's frequently, and I have found that the grease isn't regularly changed according to schedule for the fries. Later on in the evening, older food is served that should be given away to employees or accounted for later/thrown away, and also at times, they don't have any iced coffee! What's the point of even going to McDonald's if they have no iced coffee as one of their promotional items???



Every time that I've visited, except this last time, the franchise owner wasn't on duty. Ever heard the expression: while the cat's away the mice shall play? Well, my lobbyist consort was so fed up with visiting this store, as the McDonald's in Fayetteville outshines this one by a longshot, (maybe because it is a corporate store/but that's not always the case), that he even asked for his coupon back so he could use it there instead!



I decided to pay this time, so he consented to eating there once more. The franchise owner was there, but his order wasn't correct. He ordered a #2, but he was charged for just the sandwich and a tea. This has happened before at this store. I'm not sure if it is the speaker system or the ineptitude of the cashier, but the food cost is being lost for the fries not being accounted for, which may be how they cushion their sales for not changing out the grease and wasting more fries to boot!!



Other than that, our visit was nearly perfect! The ranch chicken BLT sandwich was needing a tad more ranch, but the tea and food were good, once we got what we actually ordered:



I don't mind paying the difference for the fries, but I find it strange that the franchise owner doesn't care more about their business to be in the building -- I've visited off and on since October 2009 - January 2010. We quit frequenting this McDonald's altogether because this store couldn't cut it. Then we waited four months to see if there was any change.



In this economy, people are experiencing a lack of customer service, so the people who still want to spend money are discouraged from splurging within their means! Wasting your money somewhere, makes you wish you'd have eaten a pack of crackers and gone to bed early.



For being close by, this store has consistently been inconvenient and substandard.
