Tye's Mud Hut in the Severn area of Anne Arundel County, Md. is owned and operated by Judy and Dan Stone, Judy, a wonderfully skilled Christian lady who is also an absolutely awesome teacher/instructor with a bottomless knowledge of not just clay and ceramics, but many other subjects.as well. She has the patience of Job himself .a necessity for students and customers. She is the wife of Dan Stone; Together they have a strong and loving marriage of many years. they both are ministers/pastors, and have led several churches with Biblical teaching. They are parents of 2 girls and a boy and multiple grandchildren. Anyone with an interest in ceramics. would be (or is) truly blessed to know them and learn from them. When you visit their studio/shop/classes, you are quite likely to meet at least one of their children and/or grandchildren.
