This was our first time hiring movers. We were moving from a 3rd floor apartment and wanted to leave moving everything down two flights of stairs to the pros. That is exactly what the movers from Blue Men were.

They bill you hourly and the movers knew that. I don't think I saw them stop once or make a trip down empty handed once. They were careful with everything and if someone was marked fragile they would ask about it and then set it aside to make certain it was not damaged.

No one can enjoy moving boxes and furniture down three floors, but the three guys we had did the whole process with a smile. They were polite, professional and respectful the whole time. They could have been three friends we asked to help us move because they were s enjoyable to work with. I would recommend them to any one that is moving.

I had never heard of them prior to this move and our realtor recommended them. I had originally emailed and left messages for two bigger moving companies in the area and got no response from them. The same day I sent in my quote request with Blue Men I had a call later that day to go over all the details.

Three days before the move we realized that we should probably have three movers instead of two. I emailed them and got a response right away about our request and that they would send the extra man.

I cannot give high enough praise for Blue Men Moving and the work they did for us. I will be using them again in the future if the need arises.

Their rates are right on their website, which was hugely helpful. We chose a 3-man crew. They were all young guys, but Duey, CJ, and Mark worked their butts off to get the truck full to the brim and moved within our budget. They were cheerful and friendly from beginning to end, and my antique heirloom furniture was packed, loaded, and unloaded with great care. Thank you guys!

When we did some remodeling we hired Blue Men for an in home move. They were terrific. They worked around our schedule and were very professional. We recommend them to all our friends and family. Blue Men Moving costs less and we liked the fact that they were a family owned company. Thanks guys for making this part of remodeling so much easier. Ryan and Jess

Nobody did a survey beforehand, thus the move took much longer than expected and they also ran out of boxes half-way through. They had the nerve to ask me if they could finish up another day. NO! I was promised a move in one day and this was getting done that day. They had to send one guy back to HQ to get more boxes. I ended up packing up both bathrooms and several closets and moving them with my own car just to try to keep things on somewhat of a schedule. Packing was very poor. They were told what items were fragile and they still ended up at the bottoms of boxes (That's plural, it happened over and over). The cherry on top of this was when they were trying to move a Queen size box-spring up the stairs in my new house. They tried a few times and failed and they told my wife "It's impossible to get up there" and they just left it in the living room downstairs. Now think a minute: There are bedrooms upstairs, people sleep upstairs, that means beds, that means box springs. Married people don't sleep on full size beds. That means a Queen size box spring (or larger) had to have gotten up there before somehow. But these guys just gave up. A week later my wife and I took a trip to Michigan to bring back some throw away sofas and about 10 other large items that our friends donated to us. We had ANOTHER MOVER move all those heavy things in and he only charged us $85. He also moved the box spring up into the upstairs where these guys failed. He did all that in less than an hour. We ended up paying him $150 because we were very happy. Overall I'm glad that they packed and moved for us, but this ended up being a cluster where some simple planning and maybe a little diligence could've improved things.
