I recently had a new water heater installed at my townhouse. When I called to schedule the appointment, I asked about installing a new kitchen faucet (which I had already purchased) while they were already out there. They told me that it would be no problem since they were already there and they could do it quickly while they were waiting for the old water heater to drain. That is all they told me regarding the faucet installation.Jerry, who did the installation was very nice and knowledgeable and provided excellent service. He arrived on time and disconnected my old water heater and started draining it. While waiting for it to drain, he installed my new kitchen faucet which took him about 15 minutes. All was good.Then I received my invoice. They charged me an additional hour of labor ($108) just for the kitchen faucet install. There was no additional hour though. He did it while doing the water heater. So instead of standing around twiddling his thumbs doing nothing while waiting for the old water heater to drain, he had something to do. There was no additional hour added on to the call and it only took him about 15 minutes. I can understand paying a little something for the install, maybe $10-$15, but to charge for an entire additional hour, when I didn’t get an additional hour of labor is a total rip off. I tried to discuss it with Paul, the owner of the company and he would barely let me speak and gave me a long winded speech about plumbing insurance and licenses and a whole lot of other BS that had nothing at all to do with a simple faucet install. He did finally agree to split the cost with me, but paying $54 is still completely ridiculous. I will never do business this company again.

I needed a plumber right before Christmas. Minnesota Plumbing & Heating had a plumber at my house when promised. He was fast, friendly and did a great Job.
