This used to be one of my favorite thrift stores. However, a new manager has taken over and basically has turned it into and antique store. There are tags and sometimes photos from ebay attached to the item explaining what the item is being sold for on eBay. Ebay is not an appraisal site. It should not be used as such. Especially in a THRIFT store. Also, some things are priced higher than the cost at brand new. For example, yesterday, I picked up a no-name brand pitcher that held approximately 3 cups of liquid with a price tag of $6. At Walmart or some store similar, it may be $3-$5. Also, hanging planters had $8. Lowes or Home Depot, they are $10. While that's $2 cheaper, with the rust, wear and tear and broken chains, they should be lower than $8. Canning jars were anywhere from $1-$4, depending on size. I can buy 10 brand new quart jars for $12 at Walmart......brand.....new! Dollar Store trays, $1. Why? Go across the street and get new, unused, perfect ones for $1. The lady that works the register, I should know her name, but shamefully I do not, she is GREAT! So friendly. So personable. If I were just rating her, there would be 10 stars!
