This was Cathey's Variety Store many, many years ago when I was a child. They did a fantastic job of re-vamping the building and made it into a beautiful restaurant.

Everytime my family comes to Redding for a family visit we always eat at the Old Mill Eatery. It has such a cheerfull country atmosphere. The owners Rhonda and Tony are such cheerful nice people and very hard workers. The food is extremely delicious, lots of it and picture perfect. In fact we have taken pictures of our plates of food to share with family and friends.

Excellent food. Large portions, Reasonable prices, Great atmosphere, and a fun place to eat.

A fantastic jewel of a find! Friendly people, great food (breakfast and lunch), large servings, and very reasonable prices. In future I will drive an hour out of my way just to eat here, it's that good. The building itself is special too, great craftsmanship; rare these days. This was an accidental discovery for us, a very happy accident.
