Zarda is one of the better BBq's is the KC area. Food is good and service even better. Give it a try if you are in the area.

i live out by the airport and anytime i am in the area, i have to stop here for a beef sandwich and an order of pickles!! i am in love with their sauce and the tender juicy beef. even the pickles have a zest to them!! it is so good!!

Zarda beans are the best in KC, better than anything we've tried in any state actually. Prices are really good. When you leave this place you know that they are really using hickory to smoke their BBQ -- not liquid smoke, because you'll smell like BBQ for the rest of the day. Is that a bad thing? :)

Love the lean brisket and smoked turkey at Zarda. (oh yeah, and the sausage - it's like paper thin)



I know some guys like the lard fried fries and BBQ of Bryants and Gates.... (I've tried - just can't do it) But, I like hickory smoke flavor and tasty sauce... so Zarda is perfect.



Oh, yeah, and clean - that's big. Zarda has a great record for being clean and safe, I usually look for that before the food reviews!



The new driveway on 87th street is kinda hard to figure out - but it's worth it.
