Shawnee High School offers a wide range of educational and extracurricular programs to students. The school is located in Shawnee, Okla., and is affiliated with the Shawnee Public Schools. It provides services to more than 1,200 students in grades nine through 12. The school curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, accounting, economics and computer science. The school offers elective classes in visual and performing arts, reading, writing, vocabulary and physical education. It has a special department for prevention of harassment and bullying in the classrooms. It also offers various sports activities, including football, baseball, basketball, cross country, tennis, soccer, golf, volleyball and track.
