The above review by Samuel C. Is not accurate, when he came in the second time he wanted it left longer. His mommy was paying for the grooming , as she had done the first time, and wanted the dog cut short. 7 WEEKS later he decides he doesnt like the cut and calls to tell me. I told him if he had said something sooner i would have done something about it but almost 2 MONTHS later was to long. So he tries to make another appointment with me and i told him i didnt feel comfortable doing his dog and he, and his mommy, should find another groomer. Then he starts all this nonsense about groomers, SOUNDS LIKE HE HAS A PROBLEM WITH ALOT OF GROOMERS. Samuel C. you are the unstable person, grow up.

This is a weird one. I had brought my Husky to her, after my previous groomer closed their doors, and she did a great job. Then I brought him back next time with the EXACT same instructions for trimming... And it looked like something I might have done to him. lol But being VERY aware from past experiences with groomers, just how "sensitive" (and frankly unstable) they can be. And afraid to loose yet another groomer and have to do the big SEARCH again. I refrained from saying anything. But let me describe, LITERALLY, and without embellishment, what he looked like. He is likely a Husky with Samoyed mix. So he does not have the nice, neat coat must Husky's do, but a much more fluffy and silky one. I typically just ask for him to look nice and tight (no shaving). To basically make him look like a German Shepherd. When I got him back, it was around 4" long still, but rather uneven... Kind of "choppy", I guess. And the crowning touch to the entire thing was the "REVERSE MOHAWK" running from tail to neck. :oO Now to be fair, it wasn't shaved to the skin. But looks like they were using the clippers and did one LAST pass down the top of his back and then just stopped. I know, I should have mentioned something then. But after years of dealing with groomers... I didn't want anyone to go run into the back and reenact the shower scene from THE CRYING GAME. lol Anyway, I thought "it will fill in", and next time I'll be VERY specific. But it was just awful looking. And one of the big purposes, as this is technically my mothers dog, who lives with me. She could handle the mild shedding done from a short cut, but the giant chunks that clung to everything, she couldn't. So she demanded it be "fixed". I VERY politely contacted her, using the most calming tone I could, and asked if he could be trimmed again. I didn't even ask for it to be done for free, or even a discount. I didn't even mention all the problems with his cut. I tried to just tell that it didn't get cut as short as was wanted, or like last time. I just went back and checked our messages. This is how she ended things: "...we dont feel comfortable doing your dog again since you were so unhappy with it." Then "encouraged" me to find another groomer. Now this happened 2 years ago, so why am I writing now? Because I'm on the search for yet another place because the groomer I found to replace HER, apparently has "issues" also. Though in this case, it had nothing to do with a cut, but me just trying to get another dog in to have his nails clipped and them claiming he was too vicious last time to accept again. Which isn't true, since I was there the entire time and even helped in the process. And the only thing that happened, was us all laughing at him trying to find new and inventive ways to avoid getting his nails done. But with never a growl from him. But pointing out that they were wrong, apparently "triggered" them and they have refused to communicate with me since. So now I am on the search, yet AGAIN! And decided... Why they hell am I not leaving reviews for these people? So I'm going to be leaving reviews EVERYWHERE I can.

Oh, and if anyone would care to dispute my word in any reviews. I would be MORE than happy to copy and paste our messages.

Maybe I hit her at a bad time? But this seems to be basic operating procedure for a large chunk of groomers I've encountered over the years. This juvenile attitude, no matter their age, where they can never admit to being wrong, or making a mistake, seems to be at the crux of what I am encountering. The next is being able to accept even very polite criticism, when people were wanting something else.

Boy do I have some cray-cray groomer stories, but I'm almost out of room. :o)

I have taken my pitbull there twice now and she has welcomed him with open arms (literally). He smelled great, he loved the groomer and it they had the lowest price I could find. Clever name, GREAT service.. what more could you ask for in a groomer?
