If you must go here, deal with the woman who works there, not the owner. I drove 1 1/2 hours to have the motor replaced in my Patriot to the tune of around $365. Drove back up and brought it home where it would cut off every ten minutes whether assembled or the unit itself. Drove it back up and dealt with the owner who was the most arrogant, condescending jerk I have ever had to deal with as a customer. I told him we thought it was the switch. He said it wasn't the switch but what I was vacuuming and, finding dog hair in the bag asked me if I live in a kennel. Further, insisting there was nothing wrong with the unit, he nevertheless kept it and said he would brush outv the straight metal pipe so I couldn't say he didn't. I told him I live an hour and a half away, could he do that while I waited? He said he doesn't do repairs himself and there were other units ahead of mine. I left frustrated and angry. My husband called later to say the vacuum had better be completely fixed when I returned for it and spoke with the technician who said the switch was indeed bad. I would throw this vacuum cleaner away before dealing with this owner again.
