The seller chose this title company, we would not have. the people are nice., but they are incompetent.
we requested the closing docs. 48 hrs in advance , so we could review them ; they missed 3 promised deadlines, for this, when they finally came, about 8 hrs before closing, the were mistakes in the purchase price. When we, a few days later, got to close, the mistakes had not been corrected, we had to wait for them to redo the docs, we were promised paper originals of the docs , which they never sent,( sent electronically) and we were promised a copy of the real estate transfer tax for the city, which they never gave us. Again nice people but not efficient, not accurate & don't do what they promise.
