After hearing horror stories about remodeling, I was prepared for a long, arduous experience. I was told 3.5-4 weeks but expected 8-10. How wrong I was! 4 weeks and done. Complete. Clean. Efficient. Helpful. Professional. All my concerns, questions were answered quickly. Remedies came usually overnight. This was one of an agonizingly few times we have had a company in and have been 110% satisfied.

From start to finish, excellent communication, done on time, beautiful cabinets and countertop, installers were thorough, as if it were their kitchen. Very pleased!

We are very satisfied with the cabinets overall. We do wish we could have got the cabinets sooner, but since they are custom made the lead time was expected. I can happily say they were definitely worth the wait! The quality is just as promised, and they make my kitchen look so rich.

Our designer truly helped coordinate our dream kitchen as if it were his own. The customer service was personally excellent for me, with no issues at all. Got my kitchen and bathroom cabinets in an antique white color that is both classy and modern. I highly recommend Lafata Cabinets to anyone.

absolutely the best cabinet shop in southeast michigan. the QUALITY is miles ahead of the other cabinet shops, including ross cabinets down the street.



customer service was not the best, but they told me ahead of time how long is would be for my cabinets and i was understanding.



price is normal. you pay for what you get, and for lafata you get top notch cabinets.

Not a good experience with Orchard Lake Rd sales

I would not recommend Lafata due to poor customer service and lack of control over subcontractors. Our kitchen remodel took 6 months due to mistakes and damage incurred by subcontractors. Further, tile was installed improperly without any proper fix. Do not fall prey to using Lafata due to low cost. It will be worth the additional money to have a professional contractor with quality subcontractors or employees.

When i intially order the cabinets, I was concered about how much money I had to pay before the cabinets were installed. I was assured by the owner if there were any problems I could call him directly. The installation went fine until they came to the cabinet above the refrigerator. The salesman ordered the wrong size cabinet for the space. The installer spoke with the owner about the mistake and I was told we could move up the base of the cabinet and the fridge would fit. Since I had no reason not to trust the installers, I signed off on the installation and paid the balance. Once I had the floor installed, the fridge would no longer fit. When I called Lafata, I was told it would cost an additional $700 to re-make the cabinet and have it installed. I left numerous calls to the owner who never returned my calls. Needless to say, I would never use Lafata again and have told my friends and family not to use them do to the terrible customer service. I'm sure if everythings goes as planned their fine, however, if you should have a problem with theirs cabinets 6 months or a year later, DON'T EXPECT ANY SERVICE FROM LAFATA.

overpriced cabinets and rude arrogant service....so many better options than lafata....look around and compare.

Run...away.....don't walk a way from LaFata..... quality of workmanship and customer service is non existant.... for the top of the line prices you pay....
